Ludmila Martha (born in Yogyakarta on February 20, 1990) is a singer,
songwriter, and musician. Raised in a musical family, Ludmila was
initially influenced by classical and pop music. The musical environment
also gave impact to her, proven by the fact that she started to compose
tunes on age 5-6 years. When she was 8 years old, she started to
perform her singing and piano playing in several events in Jakarta. She
has been singing from the early age and winning some competitions, such
as Bintang Radio RRI (2005). Since teen age, she began experiencing
various kinds of music, such as RnB, jaz
z, blues, and soul. Those
musical genres have given her more freedom to express herself and
explore her sense of music. She also started to compose songs seriously,
with the lyrics made by herself and occasionally by her companies. One
of her songs, named "Satu", became the first winner of a song
competition held by Depdagri in 2008. The song was then officially used
in TV commercials. Up to now, Ludmila has written some songs which
sincerely come from her heart. Having shared her songs, she wants to
have fun and make everybody enjoyed and touched by listening to the
music.
